Josie Flint
Josie specialises in leadership, organisational strategy development, and learning for the humanitarian sector. She has worked in operational and management roles with both not-for-profit and private sector organisations across a range of disciplines including applied research, learning and development, international operations and policy implementation. Over the past seven years, Josie has worked across the Asia and Pacific regions, including in Nepal, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, Philippines and Fiji.
Josie has a special interest in strategy development for humanitarian agencies, social enterprises, and businesses operating in the humanitarian sector and is passionate about facilitating thinking on new and better ways to ‘do business’ differently. She has developed hands-on leadership experience through facilitation, including for consortium development, presenting, teaching and design of short courses for academic and practitioners alike, facilitating strategy, undertaking reviews and evaluations, and partnership building in a variety of settings.
Josie has been with Humanitarian Advisory Group since 2014, where she currently provides technical, research and policy advice, and manages project implementation. Josie also focuses on shaping strategic engagement and partnership building for the future.
