The Australian Federal Police (AFP) works closely with a range of other law enforcement and government agencies at state, territory, Commonwealth and international levels, enhancing safety and providing a secure regional and global environment. The AFP have a wide International Liaison Network, and contributes to most Australian Whole-of-Government deployments overseas, providing police services, training, policing advice and support.
The ACMC works with the AFP to ensure policing is considered in all Australian government responses to conflicts and disasters overseas and assists the AFP to prepare for these responses with Australian government agencies, Non-Government Organisations, International Organisations, and other partners.
