Leading conversations in the civilian-military-police environment

Through constructive conversations, we connect with others, inspire, influence, build understanding and innovate. They are the major forum where we learn from each other, solve problems, make decisions, build relationships and take action.

Bringing people together

The Australian Civil-Military Centre regularly brings together stakeholders from the government, military, police, and non-government sectors to discuss key thematic issues, challenges and issues in a structured way. Our conversations are focused on open dialogue between all stakeholders, and the opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise, and to learn from each other's experience. Our workshops, dialogues, round-tables and seminars are conducted in an atmosphere of openness, trust and the equity of all voices.

Structured conversations

The structure of our conversations is focused on delivering real outcomes that support our stakeholders and partners tackle current and future security and humanitarian challenges. They leverage the diversity of ideas that comes from bringing together different sectors, different agencies, different countries and different approaches to innovate and develop a more holistic understanding of how we work together.
