The Australian Civil Military Centre (ACMC) would like to invite all interested researchers and authors to submit:
- Project proposals (generally up to AUD $100,000),
- Scholarly articles or Industry articles.
These proposals and/or articles should be aligned with one of the following themes of Civil-Military-Police cooperation:
- Peacekeeping, peacebuilding, and peacemaking,
- Domestic operations,
- The Indo-Pacific region,
- Stabilisation, and
- Security sector reform, including biosecurity and climate change issues.
Proposals should be of high level and evidence-based. They are expected to identify new insights, incisive analysis, and contribute to the body of knowledge on Civ-Mil-Pol cooperation. Articles may be newly written work or previous papers presented in conferences, provided they have not been published elsewhere.
All submissions will undergo extensive review by the ACMC Advisory Committee, and successful candidates will be duly notified at the conclusion of the review with a letter of offer to commission projects for ACMC or to submit a final article for publication in the forthcoming ACMC Research Compendium.
Project proposal details should be submitted using the research proposal template 2023-24. It should be filled out and submitted as an MS Word document. Articles should be in draft form with the name/s of the authors and contact details for correspondence. It should also be on MS Word. All submissions must be received no later than 3 March 2023. All submissions should be emailed to: research@acmc.gov.au.
