ACMC supported a US-led Disaster Management Workshop in Dili, Timor-Leste from 10-12 September 2025.
Fifty representatives from local and international civilian, military and police agencies attended the three-day Seminar and Table-Top Exercise (TTX) which aimed to enhance Timor-Leste, Australian and regional Disaster response capability, utilising best practice and lessons learned from local and international experiences.

ACMC’S Assistant Director Exercises and Plans, Damian Eaton, supported the US Centre for Excellence in Disaster Management (CFE-DM) and Rhode Island National Guard (RING) with instruction on Civil-Military-Police Coordination and Regional Incident Management Systems, and facilitation of a TTX focused on national response to a catastrophic disaster. Support to the workshop builds upon the disaster management seminar involving ACMC and Timor-Leste agencies in Darwin in August 2025.
