ACMC hosts Southeast Asian maritime experts for scenario exercise

ACMC brought together Southeast Asian and Australian maritime experts for a scenario exercise in Melbourne during ASEAN-Australian Week.

The activity was designed to encourage communication and cooperation and practice civil-military coordination principles in a maritime context. Participants considered international and inter-agency coordination during various response phases, including information sharing, search and rescue, evacuation and repatriation, environmental challenges, strategic communication and salvage.

The activity reflects ACMC’s continuing commitment to enhancing civil-military-police coordination and cooperation across the Indo-Pacific region.
