Dr Heba Batainah
Dr Heba Batainah is Assistant Professor in Politics and International Relations in the Canberra School of Politics, Economics, and Society at the University of Canberra. Her research focuses on political institutions of belonging, representations of minority groups, and factors that help or hinder citizens in their pursuit of political participation. Heba has lived in six countries on three continents and speaks Arabic. She is a graduate of the Australian National University (PhD) and the University of Canberra (BPhil Hons – First Class).
