Lyndon McCauley – Multiagency Concept Development Manager

Lyndon McCauley is an advisor in the Centre’s Multiagency Program, working towards development of the Conceptual Framework and subsequent strategies for enhancing strategic decision making, such as a Common Language Guide and further investments in Australia’s preparedness for conflict and disaster operations.

Lyndon has come to the Centre with ten years experience in the Department of Defence. He has worked on Australia’s counter-terrorism policies with Strategic Policy Division and in 2009 completed the Australian Command and Staff College course. Prior to his career with Defence, Lyndon worked for the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties in the Commonwealth Parliament and completed a secondment to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute where he carried out work on the private military and security industry.

He holds Masters Degrees from the University of New South Wales in Defence Studies and in Strategy and Policy, as well as a Graduate Certificate from the University of Wollongong in Maritime Studies.
